This position provides global steering of the strategic Product Transfer for all G-CCP sites across the globe with focus on Asia.
The Global Product Transfer and Contract Manufacturing Manager has to drive matters beyond plant borders with regard to complete and complement the existing product portfolio by implementation and development of strategic useful tollers also with regard to global and regional circumstances and conditions.
Main Tasks :
Lead process for product transfer and new product implementation (inhouse and / or contract manufacturing), including prioritization and providing manufacturing and commercial terms, and product launch across G-CCP global assets.
Ensure highest utilization at lowest cost
Ensure optimization of variable plant resources
Ensuring alignment with plant capabilities
Aligning with R&D, CCT and Operations to ensure proper technologies are deployed for effective product transfer and new product introduction
Lead and manage contract manufacturing program : identification and qualification of contract manufacturers, audits, support global contract manufacturing strategy development and implementation; contracts,
Initiate and steer procurement with regards to raw material / trading goods qualification. Manage global projects to qualify alternative raw materials.
Ability to handle procurement topics required.
Interface to global Sourcing & Co-Manufacturing Manager G-CCP / S team
Identify synergies, sourcing risks and bundling opportunities for co- manufacturing portfolio and initiate(counter-) measures
Steer Maker or Buy decision or other special projects
Develop strategies to minimize total cost of ownership.
Master degree in chemistry or engineering field with preferred 5+ years in Operations Engineering, or any other field of Catalysts is required.
This position requires an in-depth knowledge of solid material handling and processing.
This position requires very good commercial skills to interact with procurement on contract manufacturing business case calculations, price negotiations and contracts.
Effective interpersonal and intercultural skills with a proven ability to navigate complex organizational hierarchy, working cooperatively across various teams with varying reporting relationships.
