Be responsible for leading the strategic portfolio development of targeted TAs, to identify development strategy, accelerate commercialization in China
Forecast, identify, evaluate and manage the most complex or strategically important opportunities
Identify and guide the evaluation and commercial assessment of target molecules / indications in Sanofi pipeline as well as BD opportunities;
Develop business cases including revenue forecast and P&L for molecules / indications in responsible TAs, obtain alignment with CN project team, GEM NPP, Global NPP, GPH / GPT, presenting business cases at various level of governance meetings, such as CN TARC, global TARC and JSC with REGN etc to achieve endorsement and approval for the cases
Responsible and deliverable for key corporate strategic exercises of relative therapeutic areas, such as brand planning, strat plan, 10 year forecast and P&L, LRP, PFR and other strategic initiatives
Provide commercial insights and contribute to China development strategy to support successful development and commercialization in China
Act as pre-launch brand owner to drive pre-launch preparation for new products; responsible for brand strategy, commercial strategy, opex planning, P&L, brand name and other commercialization related actions items
Identify market research needs, evaluate the findings of market research or analysis projects, assess the viability of alternative opportunities, and present recommendations to management governance bodies
Lead the decision making of price strategy for all new products through close working with China and global pricing team, contribute to access strategy development and execution
Interface extensively with cross functional teams and external partners and / or provide expertise support to ensure all NPP development projects are well progressed in China
Work on business related commercial questions and develop business solutions, including but not just related to innovative programs, e-
marketing, commercial intelligence, sales model, supply planning
Take the lead as the primary point of contact with the Global NPP or commercial team for new product forecasting and take the lead role to facilitating cross functional alignment with R&D to accelerate commercialization in China
Contribute to CN-Global development exchange meetings and educate global counterpart about China market, with a focus on commercial environment and also including regulatory, access, development etc
Provide on-job training and coaching to strategic planning managers, support head of strategic planning to improve team capabilities and work on specific team development / culture projects
Expert knowledge & demonstrable marketing / brand management experience and results.
At least 15 year industry experience in senior marketing / brand management roles of increasing responsibility
Strategic leadership skills and vision, including experience coaching and mentoring team members
Strong interpersonal skills and influence skills with the ability to liaise with and influence people at all levels
Be able to driving Results, proactively seeks to improve processes and implement best in class solutions
Be able to work on multiple TAs and 10-20 projects simultaneously
Quick learners. Be able to obtain insights and key points for new disease areas or new MOAs quickly
