Through 2 years within Alibaba’s core business units at the headquarters in Hangzhou, combining workshops and experiential learnings, AGTD members will gain in-depth business knowledge and cultural insights at Alibaba.

We expect AGTD graduates to take critical roles in the businesses which are highly impactful in Alibaba’s globalization journey.

We need you to have :

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (HSK-4 equivalent and above)

    Tmall Import&export business focus in crossborder business across China,SEA,ANZ,and North America. In oder to realize its dream in "Global sell and global buy", now Tmall Import&Export Business is composed with 3 Parts : Import business part, including Tmall Global, Kaola.

    com and CIP; Export business, mainly Tmall world and SEA crossborder business, Asia Crossborder Center. For import business, Alibaba still believe that online import consumption is still at an early stage, Tmall Global, as No.

    1 import platform in China, is still booming in introducing global brands to China, accelerating its peneratration in varying customers in China.

    With more than 5 years in import business experience, Tmall global is good at providing all around solutions for cross-border Ecommerce.

    With Kaola.com joining Alibaba, we'd like to upgrade our consumption in Dual-Brand strategy together.For export business, Tmall World is realizing its mission in helping Chinese brands go aboard.

    And more sites would meet overseas Chinese in these years. At the same time, Tmall World is providing more and more solutions for Chinese brands, especially in 3C, fashion and home&living industry.

    With Alibaba's EC ecosystem in SEA, perfectly use Tmall's strength in brands and products, our partners' strength in cusomers insights, better logistics and service, Asia Crossborder Centre is incubating a new way of doing EC business in SEA.

    Job Description

    1. Support Tmall Global’s business development activities in HK, Taiwan, and SEA markets, work closely with brand and category team to incubate new brands and sellers

    2. Conduct market research and provide new brand trends and potential opportunities for the regional team

    3. Support to promote Tmall Global’s brand image in the region through marketing activities, seller conference, etc. Main a high level of brand awareness and seller satisfaction

    4. Support Tmall Global’s seller and service provider ecosystem development in HK and mainland China to provide better experience for both brand owners

    5. Work closely with BD managers to support other daily business operational tasks as needed

    Requirement

    1. Passionate about e-commerce industry and experience in sales or business development is a plus

    2. In-depth understanding of consumers' behavior and their preference

  • 3. Good at planning and creative thinking;
  • 4. Good at data analysis and able to adjust the plan quickly;
  • 5. Fluent Mandarin and English;
  • 6. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • 7. Good executional power with great attention to details;
  • 8. Fast learner and enthusiastic team player with the flexibility to prioritize and switch tasks smoothly;
  • 9. Well-organized and self-motivated;
  • 10. Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast-paced environment;
  • 11. University students of any discipline.
