The Finance team is predominantly based in London with regional staff located in Spain, USA, Mainland China and Hong Kong.

Senior Manager, Corporate Services

About the Role

  • Initially reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Services, you will be focused on supporting the activities of the Shanghai and Beijing offices, as well as Chinese compliance and local regulations.
  • You will be the main Facilities lead for the Beijing office, with quarterly travel to the office.
  • Your daily responsibilities include running general Facilities operations such as greeting visitors, setting up meeting rooms, dealing with post and couriers, maintaining the office common area and stocking refreshments.
  • You will assist with the on-boarding of new starters, the off-boarding of leavers and visa invitations for staff travelling to China.

  • You will lead the review of expense claims for staff based in China, ensuring all claims are in line with GSMA policy and that all documentation has been received.
  • You will also work with the Accounts Payable team based in London to settle Chinese supplier invoices and ensure that the correct documentation is provided for local compliance purposes.

  • You will also be involved in ensuring we maintain our tax compliance and input Fapiao verification, record keeping and filing.
  • About You

    The role requires a dedicated and motivated individual who is able to work as part of a team. You must be proactive and diligent, with a willingness to learn and develop their skills.

    The ideal candidate will demonstrate :

  • Fluent Chinese and English communication skills, both oral and written;
  • The ability to prioritise tasks;
  • Strong levels of customer service, both internal and external;
  • Effective time management, ability to remain calm when under pressure to meet deadlines;
  • Competency with tools such as Outlook and Microsoft Office;
  • Prior administrative and office management experience is essential;
  • Prior finance experience is beneficial but not required.
