Job Overview

Be a key contributor to the establishment and maintenance of an efficient planning, reporting and analysis system to generate timely, accurate, and reliable information and to provide high quality business and financial management analysis for China Management especially for Regional management’s decision making.

Key Responsibilities

1) Perform as business Partner to Regional sales team, providing analysis, support and challenge to ensure maximum performance delivery :

  • Assist Management in accomplishing Company goals through the provision of timely analysis and quality business advice.
  • Team with China HQ FA and financial operations to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness in financial and management accounting, and manage flow of financial information.
  • Support preparation of annual budget and strategic plans for management review, analyse monthly business results and variances versus plans and alert to management with sensible solution for any significant unfavorable variance.
  • Develop trend analysis and benchmarking to ensure accuracy and reliability of regional targets and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor performance of region to ensure revenue and spending meet budget commitment.
  • Work with regional marketing, sales operation, etc., to develop financial modelling on business projects, such as new product launches, pricing change, promotion, etc.
  • to evaluate financial viability, risks and opportunities and sensitivity.

  • Coordinate with each business functions to implement a business review and variance analysis process on a quarterly basis.
  • Implement performance tracking system on individual’s KPI’s, such as forecast accuracy, OPEX projection, A&P management, etc.
  • Partner with sales functions to drive continuous improvement in spending effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • 2) Actively communicates with business partners to ensure compliance of internal and external control standards.

    3) Maintains an adequate internal control system to safeguard Company’s assets and ensure data integrity.

    4) Processing monthly tax affairs to ensure compliance with local taxation and advise Management on tax-efficient schemes.

    Technical know-how :

  • Financial Management Skills
  • Information gathering and data interpretation skills
  • In-depth knowledge in the accounting, taxation and regulations of China
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good command in English and Chinese

  • Education :

  • University Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting and / or Member of recognised accounting bodies
  • Experience :

  • Solid experience with FMCG MNC or JV with minimum 2 years supervisory experience in management reporting position.
