As the Manager of Building Openings in your region you will be responsible for managing the pre-opening planning process for Building Operations functions and the proper handover of projects from our Development department to the Building Operations department.
Work with the Director of Building Openings to ensure the there is an accurate and efficient process and policy in place, to support the transition of a new build from the product team to the regional Operations team.
Participate in programming meetings to Review the building lay out and design, highlighting any Operational risks.
You will be expected to keep track of each projects phase, and attend site at critical stages when necessary, to ensure operational elements of the facility are as per the agreed upon specifications.
Drive improvements to opening processes to improve consistency of build quality and reduce pre-opening Operations change order spend, within your region.
Direct the openings process, driving content and acting as subject matter expert in your region, leading by example to integrate our culture of operational excellence to local teams.

Knowledge of mechanical / electrical / life safety engineering infrastructure and coordination strategy.

Experience & Requirements
College graduate with a four-year degree. MEP Engineering discipline preferred
Flexibility to relocate as necessitated by regional structure
Experience with project management, construction and architecture strongly preferred
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally in a high paced environment.
Demonstrate integrity, dependability, accountability, self-awareness, strong work ethic and empathy
Ideally have a Health & Safety qualification
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, written and spoken
