We are looking for a passionate Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.
You will be responsible for developing the long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Own the accounts, develop the account strategy and plan, communicate clearly to the company executives and cross functional teams, and lead the company efforts to execute the strategy and plan
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers
Explore, identify, capture, and create the opportunities of the accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key customer stakeholders and executives cross functionally, and be a trusted advisor
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Work closely with internal functional teams (Field Application Engineering, Product Line Management, Customer Service Professionals, Operations, Product Engineering, R&D, etc.
to transfer customer requests into company’s commercial and technical efforts, and drive the efforts meeting customers’ satisfaction with prompt and effective response and resultWork closely with FAE / PLM / R&D team and customers on all new design win / design in opportunities and lead / coordinate the efforts or the customers and internal functionsWork closely with CSP / PLM / Planners and customers on forecasting and planning to ensure the on-time delivery to the customersWork closely with CSP / FAE / Quality and PE / R&D on any quality related issues to ensure prompt closure and solve customers’ concerns
Use system tools to manage, track, update, and report the forecasts and programs
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, and align internal and external efforts to keep the initiatives on track and towards the completion
Escalate clearly and timely, and provide clear guidance on the escalations to the company
BS Engineering, Laser, Optics or Equivalent, master degree preferred, BA / MBA training preferred
Proven record of sales success in both revenue and program at key China Optical Communication customers (NEMs, Data-center companies, Transceiver makers etc.)
3+ years sales and account management, marketing experience with established relationships at the above customers
Strategic thinking with demonstrated account strategies developed, executed, and result-delivered
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels and cross functionally of the organization, including executives
Result driven and self-driven, can work independently with minimum supervision but being a team player, understand and practice collaboration
Demonstrated capability working with all functional groups and leading the efforts without management authority
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both Chinese and English
