Objective of Job
Coordinate the suppliers, service provider and the internal departments to accelerate release of back orders to customers.
Critical parts escalation
Actively escalate to supplier and timely response to customer on the update of part release
Search the alternative solution actively to fulfill critical backorders
Regularly review and escalate to management for critical issues
Backorder (B / O) management
Closely follow up of the B / O situation and coordinate customers back-to-back order release
Summarize B / O parts status and feedback to customers via daily / weekly BO report
Arrange bottleneck control according to supplier capacity and dealer inquiries.
Monitor overall sales order trend and analyze Top10 BOs and long pending BOs
Initiate pro-active measures and coordinate activities with suppliers and inventory team members. Communicate on those measures with customers
Communicate with supplier to deal with special inquiries and requirements from customers
Coordinate with suppliers to follow up / accelerate the parts supply and delivery for special actions
For new switched local parts coordinate with suppliers to escalate and follow up contract signing status
Coordinate with local suppliers to pick up parts from the production line to fulfill serious customer complaint cases
Judge the cases urgency according to communication with customers and initiate corresponding escalations
Update supply status to customers and collect escalation documents from dealer proactively especially for critical ones
Daily feedback customer inquiries
Degree or Diploma in Automotive / Engineering / Business- Administration / Logistics or equivalent.
3 years working experience in dealing with suppliers and / or service providers.
Customer orientated working area.
Experience in the automotive or the logistic industry is preferred
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
