Regional Field Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Regional Marketing Manager will become the marketing lead for their region. You are responsible for planning and executing multi-pronged regional marketing programs across several key industries in which Irdeto operates to help create awareness, generate leads and influence the customer journey.

You will also support customer nurturing activities. The position requires someone who is quality driven, is extremely detail oriented and continually strives to improve effectiveness and results through measurement.

The position will also require someone who is innovative, agile, positive, can work under pressure and keep a sense of humor.

The ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people, understand their requirements and deliver actions and coordinate efforts across departments is essential.

You will work closely with the regional sales + partner teams, product management, and the greater marketing team to deliver effective marketing programs that meet corporate and regional objectives including helping accelerate customer adoption of Irdeto’s solutions, products and services.

As Regional Marketing Manager, you will be the primary interface into the regional sales team and will develop and deliver regional marketing programs including but not limited to tradeshows, seminar events, direct mail, email blasts, webcasts, and podcasts, gifting and a number of digital initiatives..

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Become a key member of the regional sales + partner team, understanding their business objectives as well as local market drivers, customers and needs
  • Build solid relationships with regional account managers to become the go to’ marketing resource in the region
  • Develop in-depth product and services knowledge for the region, and conversely, be the primary point of contact for product information from the field back to Irdeto
  • Liaise with global marketing team to communicate needs and requirements in order to fulfil your regional plan
  • Create and drive multiple regional campaigns, using global resources as well as your own expertise to deliver on activities targeting customers, partners and prospects
  • Extend global campaigns with regional tweaks as appropriate
  • Determine ROI for each campaign; track, measure and report internally on effectiveness
  • Analyze data to drive marketing decisions and spend within the region
  • Bring creativity, innovation and a regional flare to marketing; determine best practices in your region, sharing in global synergies as appropriate
  • Participate in any internal meetings as required
  • Required experience :

  • Significant marketing communications experience
  • Proficient in campaigns with many different tactics
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest methods, trends and technologies for advanced marketing communication activities, including social and digital media
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering complex marketing plans + strategies, to a geographically and culturally diverse audience within a region
  • Ability to critically analyze data to influence and drive marketing activities and spends
  • Able to communicate effectively and efficiently across all levels of seniority in a complex global environment
  • Proven ability to successfully manage complex projects and programs on time and on budget
  • Excellent writing skills in drafting, proof-reading, editing etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Required skills :

  • Excellent written and verbal (English) and interpersonal communication skills; proficiency in any regional language considered an asset
  • Familiarity with the region geographically and culturally in order to build meaningful relationships with sales, customers, partners and prospects
  • Excellent ability to work cross-functionally and build internal partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to sell’ ideas internally in order to influence others not under your supervision in order to meet your deliverables
  • Proactive, confident and effective in a dynamic, technical environment
  • Attention to detail in drafting communications materials, in administration and follow-through
  • Focused on outcomes - highly organized, able to multi-task, quality of output
  • Team player, able to collaborate and partner effectively
  • Proficient user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Outlook
  • Fluent in Marketing Automation Platforms (Pardot, etc)
