Description

Role Title : Senior Consultant Specialist

Business : Data Services

Role Purpose / Description

  • Responsible for API design & development
  • Design, build, test and maintain API, making sure they meet business requirements and user needs
  • Deliver services that are automated, reliable and secure
  • Prepare key documentation to support the technical design in technical specifications.
  • Work closely with engineering lead, data architects, and SCRUM master
  • Recommend ways to improve data efficiency and reliability
  • Industrializes the delivery of data products and services into systems and business processes

    • Qualifications

    Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge or experience in Java, Spring Framework, Web Service
  • Strong knowledge or experience in Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) and API design with implementation experience on any ESB tools (e.

    • g. IIB , Mule, MQ, SpringBoot).

  • Strong knowledge or experience of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Splunk, Jira / Confluence, AppD, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong Web based application development and production support / service recovery experience (preferably in banking / financial domain)
  • Good understanding of APM tools e.g. Splunk, AppDynamics
  • Knowledge or experience in cloud service, such as, public cloud or private cloud, GCP or AWS or Azure or AliCloud
  • Strong leadership, task planning, and resource management skills
  • Experience of working in Agile, DevOps
  • Able to make trusted and unbiased judgments
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Ability to work in fast moving, highly demanding digital service environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • ITIL Operations / Service Management
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively at both technical and managerial level
  • Strong management ability, motivating IT employees
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management
