The Amazon Digital Devices and Services team is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Principal Business Developer to spearhead partner engagement for the Alexa Technology and Fire TV Edition programs in Asia.
As Principal Business Developer, you will work closely with senior leadership and product development teams to secure and develop strategic partnerships with consumer electronics, mobile, IoT, and technology companies to support new programs for Alexa and Fire TV.
In this critical role, you will help to evolve digital services and applications for these products. You will be required to handle multiple high-
priority projects simultaneously and effectively negotiate terms for the benefit of our customers. In this role, you will :
Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships and marketing deals that drive competitive advantage and customer delight, and support strategic objectives on a global basis.
Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships and work with appropriate leaders across all functional areas of Amazon to execute on the relationships.
Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team
Recruit and mentor other business development and partner management professionals.

Bachelor's degree in related field
Experience in business development
Experience in a business role : business development, corporate development, product management / product marketing, partner management, or related positions
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing successful large-scale and complex partnerships
Experience structuring and negotiating agreements
Experience with business models and data analysis
Experience executing deals in consumer electronics with major brands
Experience executing technology, services, and marketing partnerships
Experience executing deals with international scope in Smart TV, Mobile, IoT, and major technology brands
Consistently meets and exceeds quantified goals
Personal passion for (and early adopter of) emerging consumer technologies - committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge
Experience directly managing business development or partner management professionals
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and resourceful in achieving success in the face of ambiguity while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities
Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese along with a proven ability to influence others internally and externally
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees
Sound business judgment and excellent analytical thinking
MBA and / or JD are a plus
