The Agreement Pricing Manager Position is responsible for coaching the team to conduct agreement pricing analysis, evaluating agreement related process and driving cross-
functional cooperation, enhancing team’s skills to track contract performance and supporting management to ensure the overall profitability of direct billing clients by utilizing all TE pricing systems and resources.
Roles & Key Tasks
Lead the Agreement Pricing team to run business and market analytics for direct customer bids / RFQ’s by performing strategic pricing analysis and overall profitability analysis of the business opportunity
Monitor the entire agreement price review process and identify the process improvement areas to do continuous improvements across pricing, PM, sales and CCP teams.
Review and coach team’s Pre-Bid analysis and data analysis for the evaluation of RFQ’s and proposals
Continuously improve team’s hard and soft skills and develop team members by constant coach;
Ensure proper commercial documentation of all performance backend programs and incentives on agreements along with their terms and conditions (volume rebates, scale programs, price guarantees, etc.)
Assist in conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews for agreement portfolio with Sales and Product Management Teams
Partner with different BU’s agreement pricing managers to learn the best practices
Fully utilize the pricing systems and identify the enhancement areas of systems
What your background should look like :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree; Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics
MBA from international business schools preferred
Minimum 5 Years of applicable pricing / commercial analysis and management experience;
People manager experience preferred
Understanding of complex bid / RFQ processes
Self-motivated and effectively manages one’s time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently
Able to work with global cross-functional team efforts focused on process implementation & execution
Strong PC abilities; expert Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of database and spread-sheet applications is required
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus
Experience with SAP and Advanced Pricing Software also a plus
