Position Purpose & Summary

Accountable for implementation of food safety, quality programs, product specifications and other regulatory programs to meet Cargill FSQR and customer requirement in CAM plant.

Accountable for QA team leading and talent development with good engagement competence.

Accountability for finished product meeting regulation and customer requirement.

Accountability for communicating between Cargill and CAM plant, and ensure new project implementation

This position has an extended scope of responsibilities.

Principal Accountabilities


Implement all food safety and QA programs, customer requirement such as SQMS

  • Guide and validate QC programs within CAM plant to ensure compliance with company, governmental and customer requirements and expectations;
  • Responsible for planning and defining the quality control point of raw material ,production process and final product;
  • Provide the statistical data for evaluation of the quality;
  • Responsible for implementing the Key customer’s project, such as new customer audit, new product approval.


  • Management in maintaining and developing the systems of GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC22000, food safety programs and critical customer requirements effectively in CAM plant;
  • Communicate food safety and quality culture in the entire CAM plant;
  • Coordinate internal and external audit for the systems;
  • Communicate with customers for food safety and quality issues.


    Responsible for team management and talent development including selection, training development, performance management, engagement and manage personal safety of FSQR employees


  • Assist QA Manager in the release or reject the hold product by making the decision with production manager;
  • Coordinate with related functions to make root cause analysis in customer complaint, food safety or important quality case and follow up the corrective action.

    Education, Experience, Skills

    1.Minimum Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in Food science & Food technology ,Animal science or related fields.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Food Safety Quality assurance in food industries
  • Good command of English
  • Professional knowledge of food safety and quality management system
  • Strong computer skills : Microsoft Office Software (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master degree in related majors will be a plus
  • Food safety Program development skill will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Chinese food regulations
  • Skill in Food safety program development and implementation
