Purpose of the position
Implement and assist both service sales technical support and use service sales tools to help encourage efficiency and growth in the territory.
Collaborate with area Sales Pre-execute shutdown case in the territory.
Areas of responsibility
Primary responsibility of direct customer account penetration in the territory.
Develop with manager a yearly strategic sales / marketing plan supported by individual goals and objectives in the territory.
Directly provide value for end customers by advising on process or valve performance issues, consulting regarding life cycle planning, valve performance diagnostics and other technical support in the territory.
Work with Service and Sales team to assist to implement regional service sales strategy in the territory.
Understand and promote the value of Metso OEM Service brand by demonstrating technical competency as well as strong ethical standards.
Work in cooperation with Service Center team, Key Accounts, other Metso divisions, as well as Rep Channel to assist to establish and grow service sales within the territory.
Responsible for ongoing area market analysis as it relates to competition, trends and pricing in the territory.
Assist in coordinating area sales activities.
Assure adherence to Company’s sales, marketing, and service policies as they relate to the sales of goods and services by and through distribution.
Develop relationships with key contacts at existing and potential customer sites within the territory.
Work with Service Center Team to assist to develop and sell Service Agreements within the territory.
Assure prompt, supportive, and concise correspondence and communication between Metso and the customer.
Track assigned major sales within the territory.
Other task assigned by service sales manager.
Basic requirements of the position
Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience in process related or service industry.
Sales experience or have strong Sales sense preferred.
Extensive knowledge of valves, and or ONG end user processes are highly preferred.
Ability to work with different teams, have the spirit of cooperation and dedication.
PC proficiency preferably in MS Office Suite
Have some experiences with Salesforce tools is better.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with all levels of the organization as well as customers, both oral and written, are essential.
Must be able to work independently when faced with pressure.
Must be willing and able to work extensively in customer process environments.
Experience working in process environment is strongly preferred. (Ex. Pulp Mill, Refinery, Chemical, or other fluid processing environment)
Strong technical aptitude is required.
Must be willing and able to work comply with company’s deployment, be able to get used to frequent business trips.
Settled in Xi’an or Yulin preferred.
