Principal responsibilities

  • Grow the business to achieve assigned business in alliance with business imperatives
  • By leading team frontline sales staff to achieve and exceed business targets
  • By executing sales / business plan, monitoring the implementation progress and evaluating efficiency and effectiveness to sustain and expand business and create new business to facilitate sales growth
  • By leading a team of sales staff to source potential customers, explore customers’ banking needs and establish relationship network.
  • By exploring and soliciting potential customers and expand the customer base through creation of value-added benefits to customers to enhance customer loyalty and strengthen retention capabilities
  • By building relationship with entities including companies, clubs, associations and high net worth customers to enhance the brand awareness of HACN
  • By analyzing area market information for sales planning to maintain existing business and penetrate into more opportunities for potential customers
  • By proactively consolidating market information / competitors’ moves, and identifying issues of marketing campaigns and product launches to recommend to management / internal departments for decision making and further improvement on competitiveness
  • Ensure the services and sales quality and work effectiveness of team staff
  • Engage in people development and build a first-class sales team
  • Ensure products and services provided adhere to internal / external guidelines
  • Ensure all compliance, control measures and conduct operational risk management for business development force are undertaken
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in sales management with at least 5 years’ experience in managing subordinates;
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with high integrity;
  • Strong sales and customer service orientation, with self-motivation and ability to work under pressure;
  • Knowledge of the regulations of PBOC, CBRC, SAFE and taxation;
  • Proficiency in both English and Cantonese, with good knowledge of PC application software.
