This is an electrical R&D position to support development of permanent magnet servo motors for the new generation of robotics and general servo application.
Design motor electrical parameters per customer requirement, verify and improve motor performance, interact with customers in defining specifications.
Developing, validating and enhancing permanent magnet servo motors.
Be responsible for electromagnetic, thermal and insulation designs of servo motors.
Closely working with mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring motors into mass production.
Inventing and creating new technologies and solutions.

Must have BS / MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering. Special course on servo drives / control desired.
5+ years of servo motor design experience required.
Skills in AutoCAD and / or Solid Works, Office, etc, good command of speaking and writing in English.
Should be doing ANSYS design package, SAP exposure will be useful.
Solid experience in motor modeling tools, motor testing processes and tools, motor parameter identification
Should be good understanding of design for manufacturing, quality control
Should have worked for a multinational company or technical area in a motor industry and must be familiar with regulations and codes of related motor standards and familiar with servo applications and with servo drive and control.
Should have positive attitude, self-motivated, responsible & flexible, communication skills, team work and systematic approach to solve problems.
