Closely working with local operation team and GSS team, assists China Controller on all the controlling related activities of two China entities (China Tools and Shanghai HQ), included but not limited to;
As the key coordinator between local team and GSS, manages month-end closing process;-Sales cut off sample check;
Accrual pre-review with business partners and GSS team;
Investigates material BS flux with GSS team to make sure accurate and consistent financial statements prepared;
Prepares the reports required by controllership team (BS flux, closing status etc.);
Follow up BSR findings;
Assists Controller on control environment enhancement;
Assists Controller on key control review and complete QCCC;
Local SOX document preparation on certain controls;
Assists Controller to follow up remediation plan on IA findings or other process loopholes;
Gives introduction training to new employees on DOA;
Assisting Controller, works as a business partner to understand their requirements, advance SBD strategy (E-commerce program, DC relocation etc.
seek process and efficiency improvement, and coordinates project implementation like NPS etc,
Works with DC on key controls, cycle count sample check, inventory reconciliation and assists Controller on API preparation and execution;
Fixed assets management, including follow up CIP, annual count, idle assets review etc.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND KEY PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS)
5 years’ experience in finance and controlling;
Bachelor’s degree in accounting / Finance or related discipline;
A strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and reporting;
System experience with SAP and Hyperion is preferred and good command of Excel;
Good organization and time management skills;
Good communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours when needed
