  • IT strategy, prioritisation and implementation
  • Identification of IT needs and opportunities and risk in close cooperation with the business leaders in the market and Group IT.

    Facilitate country and Group IT prioritisation process. Ensure and coordinate the roll-out and successful implementation of IT projects that resulted from the strategy.

  • IT Standards
  • Ensure compliance to global IT and cybersecurity directives in the entity / country

  • Cost & Quality Controlling
  • Built and control the local IT budget.

    Develop and implement a transparent country IT governance model that secures high quality and cost efficient, timely implementation of initiatives and IT support.

    Reduce IT costs and risk by reducing local IT applications and IT services, leveraging global scale.

  • IT Processes & Tools
  • Develop, improve efficient, effective and stable IT processes and tools (hardware and software) that support the business.

    Ensure that global standards are implemented within the country / entity

    Ensure execution of IT Solution Lifecycle Management for those applications and systems that are of purely local nature and where global solutions could not be leveraged.

    Management of interfaces from local to global systems.

    Execute migration strategy and execution in case of application consolidation.

  • People Management
  • Build and lead the Country IT team, transfer knowledge and foster collaboration within the IT team and other departments.

  • Project Management
  • Coordinate the full local IT project portfolio, lead specific core programs

  • Stakeholder Management
  • Leverage best practices for Country IT across VG.

    Align country stakeholders on IT goals and bridge IT related communication between country and global (being Ambassador of global in the region AND Ambassador of local in the region)

    Ensure awareness (for IT and other stakeholders) and implementation of the Global IT strategy within the region

  • Service Management
  • Service Tracking and reporting based on KPI’s. Drive continuous service improvement.

    Ensure IT business continuity in the country.


  • A university degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, or similar
  • Proven experience in an IT role at this or similar senior level for min. 5 years. Experience and knowledge of all IT aspects.
  • Business fluent English (spoken and written), German is a plus
  • Proven project management skills, strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Group relevant IT applications (Salesforce, SAP Offer management, applications support with DB, security, training skills)
  • Experience of business and related IT applications / systems in a National Sales & Service Organization or in Manufacturing
  • Ability to work with budgets, analytical skills, business orientation
  • Easiness of establishing relations, ability to build strong collaborative relationships
  • Proven people Manager; Ability to lead teams in different cultural settings and with different cultural backgrounds
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Highly organized and able to work well in growing organization
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving
