Join our growing company and help shape the future at Omnicell! Engineer II, SQE Omnicell is looking for an experienced Engineer, SQE for our Engineering organization with proven manual and automation testing skills.

An ideal candidate will have distributed system testing experience, strong analytical abilities, teamwork and communication skills, ability to maintain and extend test automation.

Key Responsibilities : + Perform and participate in all aspects of verification including requirements gathering, feature and functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load and performance testing, and automation testing working with various cross functional teams in an agile / SCRUM based software development model.

  • Will be responsible to work closely with the Product Development team in participating in the technical discussion (design reviews and functional reviews) and drive the testing strategy for testing the technical aspects of the product that will eventually help quality of the product.
  • Will be responsible to work closely with the Product Marketing team and the customer base to create functional testing strategy that ensures the product meets the customer needs.
  • Will be responsible to work with various cross functional organizations to streamline, integrate and continuously measure and improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the quality group Required Knowledge and Skills : + BS in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Overall 2+ years of experience in software testing.+ Strong SQE methodology background with emphasis on process good software testing practices in SCRUM.
  • Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills. Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements.+ Excellent communication skills, experience of working with cross-functional teams representing the group.
  • Past experience of software development using Object Oriented programming languages. Recent hands on experience with programming using C# and other client server and web technologies are desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of various Microsoft server and client Operating Systems. Preferred Knowledge and Skills : + Experience with creating automation testing for windows based applications / services.
