Hands on lab experience including data acquisition, processing and lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies
Extraordinary Electrical Engineering background
Experience in mixed signal EE design at either IC or PCB level
Experience in consumer electronics level mass production
Ability to participate in multi-functional discussions and reviews and become a valued contributor as a partner in the overall system design and validation
Ability to communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and multi-functional teams
Lead electrical characterization / validation from prototype through mass production- Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical and optical issues- Run simulations to meet various requirements such as display, power, SI, EMC, and graphics- Design and capture PCB level schematic & layout for prototyping and test platforms- Handle EE project tasks and issues
Education & Experience
PhD or MS with 5+ years of EE design experience
Experience in three or more of the following is preferred :
Power, analog and digital circuit analysis
Complex PCB design failure analysis
Scripting or test automation experience with simulation tools such as Matlab, Python, Objective C and Cadence
FPGA / CPLD / micro-controller programming
PCB SMT manufacturing process
Consumer electronics final assembly manufacturing process
Liquid crystal, OLED and other modern display technologies
