Recruiter19000590The Recruiter will be responsible for providing full life-cycle recruitment support for all Willis Towers Watson offices in China.
This will include specific assignment management for lower level roles as well as screening and sourcing for executive level positions.
There will also be responsibility for Account Managing one of the three business segments in operation in the region, providing Management Information to the Line of Business Leaders and ensuring that there is a coordinated approach to recruitment practices across the Segment.
Performance Objectives : Excellence
Create role profiles, screening, assessment and other tools and resources necessary in order to execute the recruiting strategy
Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process for assigned job openings :
Partner with hiring managers to establish overall recruiting strategies for searches - Source candidates based upon a broad based strategy with a focus on direct sourcing -
Screen candidates against specific selection criteria, complete written evaluations and share with hiring team - Manage the interview process, ensuring that the hiring team is properly prepared and candidates are properly and comprehensively evaluated as well as sold on the opportunity -
Conduct competency based interviews and make objective and justified hiring recommendations - Build and administer appropriate job-
based selection exercises - Manage candidates through the process, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience - Develop competitive offers, manage offer extension and effectively close candidates -
Ensure that new hires are properly on-boarded.
Identify talent within the marketplace to create a pipeline for current and future hiring needs
Champion and support and embed Willis Towers Watson recruitment approaches and tools
Support graduate recruitment
Contribute to the creation of employment value propositions, brochures and other marketing materials for the businesses in the regional segment
Partner with the HR Advisors for each country to ensure there is a smooth handover from recruitment to On boarding
Liaise with other recruitment consultants in the region to understand activity within the segment that is being account managed
Partner with the AP Graduate Recruiter to meet campus level hiring targets
Collaborate with Diversity and Inclusion team in order to meet diversity, gender and other specific recruiting goals
Establish a trusted advisor role with hiring managers with respect to recruiting and related talent management strategies;
provide high quality client relationship management
Communicate progress to hiring managers concerning status of one’s own searches and articulate plans to adjust activity where necessary
Work with the Line of Business Leaders within appointed Segment to provide appropriate management information and ensure that all recruitment across the segment is being managed effectively
Ensure that local HR Partners are kept up to date with the progress of recruitment processes and are involved in appropriate aspects of the selection process
Partner with interview teams and hiring managers to appropriately evaluate and manage candidates through the interview process
Meet or exceed recruiting metrics including number of hires, cost per hire, etc.
Consistently explore new and innovative approaches that reduce recruiting cost while maintaining high quality supp The Requirements
3-5 years of extensive experience of sourcing candidates and managing selection processes (ideally gained in house within a professional services environment)
Knowledge of recruitment processes and principles in China
Candidate management and assessment skills, preferably with or studying towards a formal qualification in assessment or interviewing techniques
Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills; experience consulting with management on recruiting issues
Strong business acumen and ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Strong oral and written English communication skills
Strong oral and written Mandarin communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment managing multiple deliverables
Proficiency in office software / systems (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRI systems
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
