The Assistant Manager Marketing China is a key role within the SkinHealth Franchise organization. This position reports into the Director SkinHealth in Singapore Regional Office and will be based in Shanghai.

The Assistant Manager Marketing will beresponsible for supporting acceleration of the Skin Health brand portfolio in Chinawith accountability for gathering China insights and ensuring that activity isappropriate to the China market in terms of development of new product line extensions, agile commercial innovation, claims andpackaging innovation and deployment of new technologies and benefit platforms.

In addition, this person will support the local marketing team to activateinnovation with customers and consumers and contribute to the achievement ofrevenue and profit targets.

Specifically, the Manager will : ·Deploy proven SkinHealth brand playbooks and product lines into China market. o Leadlocal project team, interface with the region, partnering w / local R&D,supply chain, PMO, CBI, Packaging and Design to conceptualize, research anddevelop commercial initiatives and deploy global pipeline into China.

  • Lead the China Skin Health brandportfolio strategy with deep understanding of China local financial plan, marketneeds, consumer fundamentals and customer KPIs o Develop close partnership with China commercial leaders and crossfunctional team o Gain local insight / market intimacy to ensure design plans meetChina operating plan goals Partner with local team on strategic priorities and deliverinnovation pipeline Use big data to generate powerful consumer insights as input todeployment of technologies and platforms and development of commercialinnovation o Work with local entrepreneurs and external marketing innovation suppliers,partnering with the region and engaging with IC and JLabs for local commercial partnershipand opportunities o Partner on local P&L initiatives including CIP / GP, RGM,portfolio and pricing recommendations to China market The Manager will share ownership ofthe local China Skin Health P&L, equity and innovation goals, with a strong working knowledge of localbusiness dynamics and shared ownership of activities that drive monthlybusiness performance (NTS and Share).
  • He / she will operate with agility,curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset to innovate, learn and champion bestpractices deployment into China.

    This person will be responsible for creating ahigh-performance environment and culture of collaboration and innovation withcross functional partners and marketing counterparts.

    Qualifications n A BA degree is required. Master in business ormarketing specialization preferred. n A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in settinga vision and executing in a similar brand marketing role within a consumer-packagedgoods organization, preferably with functional and / or industry experience isrequired.

    Beauty category experience is preferred. n Experience marketing in a digital world, (i.e., socialmedia, e-commerce, analytics, on-line) is required.

    n Demonstrated acumen in effective data based businessdecisions and marketing campaigns is required. n Demonstrated track record of leadership is required.

    Experienceleading in a matrix environment and cross functional teams is ideal. n Experience in successful partnership with R&Dorganizations to develop innovative products supported by specific and relevantbrand messaging is ideal.

    n Proven success in developing strategic agency partnershipsto build long term brand health and business. n Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
