Task Description :
Personnel Management Lead, motivate and develop allocated employees by target agreements and performance evaluations on the basis of the mission statement.
Ensure target-oriented internal communication and task related qualification. Provide for employee and task related qualification regarding the requirements of ICS.
Ensure the achievement of agreed targets.
Development and maintenance of accounting systems and processes (SAP and CMS), implementation of accounting processes for new business models such as Fleet management and new products
Internal Control System Overall responsibility in ensuring Internal Controls over financial reporting are implemented and monitored for Mercedes-Benz Auto Finance Co Ltd.
and Mercedes-Benz Leasing Co Ltd. This includes responsibility for compliance with regards to processes, products and external reports.
Accounting quality monitoring and implementation of process improvements related to activities listed above
Implement and support DFS HQ Accounting initiatives / projects
Education : Master degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting / Finance. Additional financial designation (CPA, ACCA) beneficial.
Experience : Longtime (8+ years) experience with a global accounting firm or in a senior accounting and financial reporting role.
Experience in identifying and resolving issues independently. Project management experience. Ability to secure the buy-in and co-operation of numerous stakeholder departments.
Large project management experience very valuable. International experience is an asset.
Specific Knowledge : Ability to lead teams effectively. Ability to apply accounting and internal control concepts to the organization in an effective manner.
Ability to work effectively across functional units and levels of a company. In-depth knowledge of captive finance company operations and processes.
