What You’ll Do

As the Lead Automation Applications Engineer you’ll deliver, implement, and support Asia Automation and Digital projects in line with customer requirements and identified objectives, serving as the single point of contact for technical activities.

  • Support the delivery of standard and customized automation solutions working with global, cross-functional development and execution teams.
  • Achieve quality objectives, meet project schedules, and communicate project to key partners.
  • Support the global team on customer projects and new product initiatives.
  • Manage deliverables from support teams and automation hardware vendor.
  • Build relationships with our local suppliers like Rockwell, Emerson, Zenith, etc.
  • Provide design improvement feedback to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Develop and deliver training to customers and internal technical / service teams.
  • Who You Are

  • Collaborative team member who can lead, motivate and work well with diverse, global cross-functional teams
  • Influencer who can negotiate with internal and external partners to resolve conflict
  • In depth experience in biopharma, product development, or related field with good understanding of bioprocess equipment;
  • knowledge of quality systems within bioprocess manufacturing preferred

  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Have knowledge of governing regulations, specifically 21CFR211 and Eudralex Volume 4 Annex 11
  • Earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field;
  • other degrees considered if combined with significant experience in process equipment project implementation.
