This role is to provide BAP those services which helps enhance its total value creation in the defined territories. The service scopes are defined under the guidelines given by Basell Asia Pacific Limited where no sales activity is included.
The incumbent should meet local and corporate policies, compliance requirements and goal zero target.
Roles & Responsibilities
Meeting BAP’s service requirements based on the instruction given by BAP’s Marketing Managers, Planning, AD / TS and Customer Management team or by relevant Regional Manager,
Provide up-to-date market information to BAP through timely customer visit reports, quality market consultation, regular volume forecast for BAP’s marketing plan formulation, product mixes strategy development, and volume allocation for the region concerned.
Execute BAP’s promotion activities, relay customer claims, provide customer service (e.g. give information about the use of product content approved by BAP) for BAP to manage the markets and customers, and enhance its customer satisfactions achieve price premium
Act as a liaison person to expedite price communication between BAP and its customers, update customer credit information, facilitate BAP’s commercial and contractual negotiation, relay BAP’s standard conditions of sales to its customers, help customer to enter order through CX system or direct customer orders to BAP so that BAP can conclude, execute or complete order timely by taking the cultural and language advantages
Improve operation efficiency, participate in local events for global safety and global care days, meet corporate, local policies and compliance requirements, achieve goal zero targets.
University or college degree in the field related to Business, Engineering and Science. MBA or master degree in sciences or engineering preferred.
Work Experience :
Minimum 8 years working experience with 3 years in Polymers, Sales, Marketing or Business Management.
Experiences in International trade.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese / Mandarin.
Account Management - Develops strategic plan for the customer to outline the cross functional interaction at the account to drive value in line with the business strategy
Product and Technical Knowledge - Looks for opportunities to continuously learn about LYB products and services to be able to clearly articulate these in a strong value proposition for the customer.
Negotiating - Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups. Can settle differences with minimum noise .
Can win concessions without damaging relationships. Can be direct and forceful as well as diplomatic. Gains trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations.
