The Process Manager provides process technology leadership for process design, optimization, new product adoption, plant personnel training / development, procedural optimization and conformance, capital project development & production related KPI improvements.
The Process Manager is the key contact with regional & global technology community regarding technology exchange.
Main Tasks :
Provide process technology leadership & support to determine process standards to ensure alignment with safety, quality and efficiency;
Develop or maintain the documentation for production parameters, work instruction, PID and training material for operators;
Conduct yearly review of above document and provide training to operators;
Perform detailed process analyses to identify solutions for process related safety, quality or efficiency issues;
Drive continuous improvement for process optimization by utilization of effective tools or proper resources (e.g. lean 6 sigma, technology upgrade, debottleneck, operational innovation, automation );
Be responsible for definition, collection and controlling of process and procedural KPIs;
Coordinate plant improvement & operational excellent initiatives;
Ensure accurate AE and OpEx database; remove bottleneck of facilities and optimize main production process
Initiate and set up of plant modifications / investments with focus on asset / process safety and efficiency;
Lead process evaluation of new product, plant trial and all the related projects to ensure the success of new product transfer;
Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry, chemical engineering or polymer processing.
Minimum 5 years working experiences in chemical industry in an operations / process management environment.
Good knowledge on Engineering Plastics Compounding process & technology
Good technical analysis capability on problem solving
Good knowledge in tools of Continuous Improvement and compounding process & equipment
Computer literate Microsoft Application
Good communication and training skill
