Leading the Public Relations function, the position holder is requested to maximize brand exposure, to enhance brand awareness and leverage PR resources for sales potentials
Translate and adapt global PR strategies into the coherent and consistent local PR plan by mastering sounded local market intelligence & working closely with headquarter’s PR team.
Formulate, execute, and manage effective PR and communication strategies.
Explore strategic collaboration possibilities with KOLs
Establish the leadership of Vacheron Constantin throughout luxury watch market
Monitor PR budgets regularly and continuously, to improve ROI by improving financial effectiveness.
Local PR strategy development and global strategy adaptation. (15%)
In charge of develop, implement and manager China public relations strategies with China Senior Communication Manager. Plan PR calendar for China market;
propose and execute suitable PR programs & initiatives.
Enhance Public Relations & Maximize Exposure for both online & offline (50%)
Build up a strong and solid relationship with key media players and influencers (editors, KOLs, digital platforms, and etc).
Maintain and enhance brand awareness while protect the brand images through all online and offline platforms.
Improve media relationship with female fashion titles, to establish the awareness of maison’s ladies timepieces. Free pitch suitable female celebrity / KOL / KOC dressing opportunities.
Identify and execute high-quality product placement opportunities.
PR release distribution management, from the key message preparation, content drafting to distribution list.
Localize & manage PR annual calendar and monitor PR agency execution.
Event Management (10%)
Lead the planning and execution of media activity, press conference, watch exhibition and etc. Necessary content support on commercial events
Reporting / Agency Management / PR Budget Management (15%)
Ensure PR goals achievement and provide the relevant reports (regular & adhoc) including campaign, event, etc.
Share highlighted PR exposures on monthly basis and event / campaign basis with local Marketing & Commercial team. Keep closely sharing, communication and exchange with HQ counterparts.
Develop and maintain effective business relations with third party partners : PR agency, production agency, artists, photographers, suppliers.
PR budget planning and management
Monitor the market trends and build up a mechanism to stay abreast of trends, emerging media tools and competitors’ activities.
Cross-function collaboration (10%)
Work closely with China communication team members & digital team, in charge of local assets(photo, video) production, manage the execution plan.
Work with training team & HQ to enhance brand storytelling
QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE
Strong understanding of luxury and retail.
4+ years Marketing and / or PR experience in the international brands or well-known PR agencies, relevant industry, watch or jewelry experience preferred, experience in digital marketing is a +
Detailed market understanding offering insights and recommendations to drive business decisions across functions.
Possesses a personal network within the Chinese media, especially female fashion titles / celebrities / stylists.
Has a hands on approach, an ability to influence and inspire others, proper cultural sensitivity.
Team player, at ease with transversal and multi-sites organization
Mature, self-motivated, outgoing
Be open-minded and flexible in terms of responsibilities.
Bachelor degree or above and fluency in both written & spoken English & Chinese.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient knowledge of computer packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
