Your Role We are looking for a HR Specialist to join our growing HR team. What You Will Do Provide support to Beijing office in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, compensation & benefits, policy administration, employee communications, performance management, learning and professional development programs.

  • Ensures compliance with Gensler policies and employment laws.
  • Handle and ensure all immigration and visa requests are handled appropriately
  • Handle employee relations issues, growth opportunities, future staffing assignments based on skills / goals, etc
  • Assists employees with benefits and payroll questions.
  • Maintain and coordinate on-boarding and new staff orientation programs (GO!)
  • Support on annual PDP program and ensure the program is successful
  • Implement and facilitate learning and development programs and processes
  • Involvement in staffing and other operational functions within the offices
  • Assist leaders / managers on handling performance reviews and termination
  • Ensure the best practices are adopted throughout the offices
  • Other duties and responsibilities as appropriate Your Qualifications Bachelors degree with around 5-10 years experience, architecture or professional services firm experience preferred
  • Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of InDesign a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Strong project management skills and excellent ability to handle multiple competing priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities / skills
  • Strong client focus, consultative skills and ability to influence others
  • Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships
