Essential Functions :
1.Uses SAS software (BASE, STAT, GRAPH,MACRO) for the production of well formatted datasets, tables, listings, andfigures, and outputs requested (e.
g., patient profiles) per programmingspecifications, Statistical Analysis Plan, and other study relateddocumentation.
2.Performs Quality Control to ensurethat outputs meet quality standards and project requirements.Works with Programmer, Biostatistician, andother project team members to resolve discrepancies or any findings.
3.Develops specifications for outputs oflow to moderate complexity and well-presented mock-up displays for tables,listings, and figures of any complexty according to statistical and Sponsorrequirement.
Anticipates and addressespotential programming issues, reflects forethought, establishes the basis forefficient programming, accurately defines all variablesto be accepted by peer review andsponsor / requestor with little rework
4.May act as the Lead StatisticalProgrammer, directs the programming activities of other programming personneland monitors progress on programming deliverables.
5.Negotiates and establishes accuratetime estimates for completion of study programming activities with internalteam members and Statistical Programming management and completes projectprogramming activities within timeframe allotted.
6.Manages scheduling and timeconstraints across multiple projects, sets goals based on priorities frommanagement, and adapts to timeline or priority changes by reorganizing dailyworkload.
Keeps project team membersinformed of programming progress and issues requiring their attention.
7.Maintains well organized, complete,and up-to-date project documentation, testing, and verification / quality controldocuments and programs in compliance with Company and sponsor standards.
8.Regularly attends and prepares inadvance for internal and external team meetings, contributes ideas anddemonstrates respect for opinions of others.
9.Displays willingness to work withothers and assist with projects and initiatives as necessary to meet the needsof the business.
