Job Description

Major Responsibilities / Activities :

  • Partner with top sales management to create AbbVie sales representative training strategy and plan to impact sales performance based on functional competency model and training needs analysis
  • Identify selling skills needed by AbbVie sales representatives to successfully compete in the rapidly changing marketplace and introduce these skills to new and experience sales representatives
  • Evaluate pharmaceutical selling skills programs
  • Identify and correct sales personnel deficiencies in product knowledge and selling skills to strengthen productivity
  • Participate in new pharma product and market development activities to provide customer / commercial focus and to assure that the sales force in prepared to rapidly execute entry to new product lines and markets
  • Create communication and learning platform within AbbVie to continuously enhance corporate culture admiration and functional capabilities
  • Coordinate with Marketing, medical, BU training team to create, execute, evaluate value added sales rep phase training with flawless quality
  • Measure the effectiveness of sales rep training programs and tools
  • Certify sales team for knowledge, skill, tool mastery in phase training session
  • Coordinate the implementation and assist with the development of all pharmaceutical training materials for the field sales organization including self-instructional material, learning texts, visual aids, training and support manuals and special training literature
  • Coordinate activities between the sales and marketing organizations by working directly with marketing managers in the development of communication and training materials for the field sales organization
  • Develop tools and training for Key Opinion Leaders development
  • Partner with RDPAC organization to implement medical rep certification
  • Qualifications

  • EDUCATION : Bachelor or Master
  • Industry experiences : 8 years of commercial pharmaceutical experience required
  • Position experiences :

  • Minimum 3 or above year working experience as sales manager
  • Minimum 5 or above year training experience in large joint venture pharmaceutical company is preferred
  • Language Skills

  • Proficient in verbal and wirtten communication
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
  • Computer Skills :
  • Mobility : Willing to travel

  • Good understanding of business and product knowledge
