As a Global Product Manager you will be responsible for in charge of driving the long-term profitable growth of digital solutions within the medium-voltage air-insulated switchgear portfolio globally in close collaboration with other global product groups (GPG) that are responsible for components and solutions as applied in digital switchgear, in Electrification Business Area in Xiamen, China.
Reporting to the GPG Product Marketing Manager, you will develop and manage digital solutions within the medium-voltage air-insulated switchgear portfolio through all phases of the life cycle according to market needs and the strategy and targets for the Division.
You will also work with the global marketing and sales teams to define marketing plans.
Defining digital strategy, setting roadmap priorities in terms of digital development and driving the long-term profitable growth of digital solutions of medium-voltage air-insulated switchgear portfolio globally
Developing a business plan and development of new business models for digital medium-voltage air-insulated switchgear portfolio and tracking performance metrics
Collaborating with GPG Technology Manager and R&D teams and following up on project execution to ensure customer requirements are met, establishing close collaboration and aligned with other GPG that are responsible for components and solutions applied in digital switchgear
Providing input to sales and tendering tool development and creating product training modules and programs
Working on marketing plans and create marketing materials with the right customer value proposition for segments and channels together with the GPG and Division marketing team

10 years of experience in electrical / electronic application with experience in marketing and sales, engineering and operational projects
Sound knowledge of smart and digital medium-voltage technologies (IEC61850, sensors, monitoring and diagnostic etc.) and the medium-voltage switchgear market
An Engineering Degree in Electrical or Electronics
Strong, well-developed communication, influencing and analytic skills
Fluency in English is mandatory, fluency in Chinese is an advantage
