System Engineer - ALCMS
Tianjin, CH

Mission :

You will develop himself in three major roles :

  • Engineering : He will be responsible for the design, realization, factory test, on site start-up and follow-up of standard mid and high size systems used for the control and Monitoring for the visual aids of airports.
  • Project : He will be responsible for the project administration and financial aspects such as procurement, budget analyze, reporting, planning, .
  • Sales : He will support the sales team during bid process by providing internal and external technical support, design supervision and detailed costs calculations.
  • Tasks :

  • You provide technical support to sales during Bid process, meeting customers and supporting tender process
  • You participate in the system definition, design and realizations
  • You prepare system design documents of ALCMS system for customers approvals
  • You prepare hardware orders, follow-up and check them at arrival
  • You prepare the system set-up in the lab and support its final configuration
  • You support and perform system validation including factory and on site tests of the system in line with ADB’s quality system
  • You generate installation and user instruction manuals for the realized system.
  • Furthermore you perform customer and internal trainings.
  • You support the installation, startup and testing of the realized system at the airport
  • You generate and maintain the accompanying documentation like configuration and intervention reports, etc.
  • You also support the technology manager in definition or validation of new features tools used for the control and monitoring of the visual aids
  • You ensure version control and configuration management of the realized system
  • You follow closely the planning, financial part of the project and produce all required reporting for management supervision

  • Experience :

  • Experience in the field of airport technology is not a must but a strong interest is welcome.
  • Interest in and a willingness to continuously learn new technologies is key in this role.
  • Experience in working with computers and different operating systems (Windows, Linux, ).
  • Experience in working with PLC and SCADA packages
  • Experience in electrical work, testing or other quality activities related jobs is a plus.
  • Experience in project engineering / management
  • IT-Skills :

  • User knowledge of Windows, Linux
  • User knowledge of network communication on TCP / IP
  • User knowledge of Field communication protocols Modbus, Profibus
  • User knowledge of Siemens PLC S7 or other brand of PLC systems
  • User Knowledge of Siemens Win CC or other brand of SCADA systems
  • MS Office + Project & Visio
