We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will :

  • Translate HSBC Group and regulatory requirements into actionable processes and procedures across the business with a good balance of risk management and customer experience.
  • Support frontline and business functions to implement requirements made by internal risk control functions and external regulators and provide post implementation supervision.
  • Proactively manage all issues and actions to completion, partnering with BRCM to ensure successful close out. Identify at pace new issues and actions, and work to manage risk holistically with strong action plans.
  • Call out early any issues and actions that won't meet target date and seek format extension ahead of time.

  • Responsible for coordination and oversight of RBWM China Policy & Procedures.
  • To ensure all FIM and Global policy changes are embedded within RBWM China, and relevant local policies and procedures are updated.
  • To meet all HSBC Group / Local procedures about SCC and PEP customers. To drive performance in frontline channels to ensure EDD periodic reviews and trigger events are managed appropriately and that volume of overdue cases are within local tolerance levels according to Risk Appetite.
  • Ensure close collaboration with FCC, Frontline and ASP teams on the SCC / PEP definition and well understand current SCC / PEP portolio.

  • Ensure FCC knowledge training and understanding at frontline especially among EPRMs.
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements :

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • At least 5 years relevant working experience in Retail Banking, with experience on frontline sales & service, bank process and operations, compliance & risk management.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill, ability on influencing.
  • Good spoken and written English is preferable.
  • Disciplined; honest; self-initiative; responsible; constructive and have good analytical and logical thinking
  • Strong problem solving skills, able to balance business and risk and find solutions
