    Solution Manager, Materials Handling

    Location : Shanghai, China

    Your Tasks

    Reporting to the Region Head Asia Pacific, the Solution Manager is responsible to manage Swisslog's hospital material handling solutions portfolio.

    S / he is required to understand the market in the different regions including the main competitors; together with the Sales & Marketing teams, s / he will define the market requirements of the solutions and develops the technical specifications of the involved products in cooperation with the Engineering / Product Manager of the R&D and production centers, both internally and externally.

    An important part of the role is to develop business plans to support the investment in new solutions and or adaptations to existing solutions.

    Those business plans have to be developed in close relationship with the Sales Organizations and production centers.

    The Solution Manager will issue the solution development roadmap and plans the market introduction. Together with the Sales Organization and the Marketing team s / he develops the value proposition including pricing strategy of the solutions.

    S / he further provides the required sales & marketing material to the Customer Organizations and trains their sales teams in those solutions.

    Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree in management, engineering and / or healthcare related field
  • Over 5 years experience as product lead for mechanical product / solution development in international MNCs
  • Strong network within the healthcare industry, in particular with hospitals
  • Well-versed in the workflows of hospital management, such as materials transportation and medication management
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good business sense and strong in analytical and process skills
  • Willing to take domestic and overseas travel
  • High proficiency in English to support global communication and fluent in Chinese for local communication
  • Ability to speak additional language, such as German and Italian is an advantage
  • Prior exposure working overseas is an added advantage
