This position is responsible for partnering with the Human Resources Business Partners to ensure the training development plan and execution for all the Exempts in China sites.
Additionally, the Talent and Development Manager identifies requirements for new technologies coming to the site and targets to have a succession plan pipeline closer to 100%.
The position is also responsible in serving as the technical and functional lead on global business processes and will provide talent and development support to the other Asia sites.
Business process review, legal compliance, timely and effective communications, continuous process improvements and training for system users is also required.
The Talent and Development Manager reports into theManager of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management APAC.
Most important tasks and responsibilities :
Based on business goals and needs, create and facilitate challenging and personally engaging learning experiences in the classroom that help to improve the effectiveness of our organization
Serve as the technical and functional lead in the creation and execution of global business processes in the Talent Management System (Workday).
Expert responsible for identification of opportunities to optimize system, recommend process improvements and solution implementation.
Collaborates with HRIS to deliver updates to business processes and related reporting for managers, HRBPs, and the COE.
Advise and execute the planning, communication and support of global Performance and Talent Management processes including but not limited to Performance, Talent Review, Assessments, Development Planning and Engagement.
In collaboration with the Regional TA&TM Manager,, responsible for ensuring participants in the related processes are equipped with relevant and accurate training and support materials.
Maintains job aids. Provides both virtual and on-site training in support of onboarding and scheduled processes.
Design, provides direction and support for the administration of various assessment instruments to detect specific requirements inside the site.
Design the annual training plan to satisfy the business requirements, implement and evaluate the results, including the input from the HRBP.
Design, implement and adjust as required the Sensata’s leadership development programs for all the site and design the assessment instruments to evaluate the efficiency of the training.
Contribute to the evolution of the Sensata Competency model and related development vendor and program support.
Research and recommend best practice solutions for performance and talent management interventions and provides recommendations for consideration.
Work together with the HRBP to satisfy the Talent Development plan for all the Employees who are included in the succession planning of the site to work in have the bench closer to 100%.
Provides feedback to the Sr. Manager regarding the status of the different Talent Development programs
Compliance with all the customer and legal requirements.
Educational requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
Additional requirements :
10-15 years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably at least five years in a Performance and Talent Management role with demonstrated experience in Performance Management, Engagement, Learning & Development, and Change Management.
Experience operating within large organizations (preferably matrixed).
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact with people at all levels within the organization

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, perform ongoing prioritization and operate successfully in ambiguous situations.
