What You Will Do :
Investigating ideas for material flows in the plants. Coordinating cross-functional efforts and execution to unlock material savings from new materials, substitutions, alternatives, and supplier changes.
Engaging in product and process development practices with a strong focus on product transfer, scale up and profitable manufacture ability adhering to design control principles in collaboration with RD&E, Corporate Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs.
Leading technology transfer within the supply chain (moving process / product between commercial locations and contract manufacturers) including development of work instructions and training manufacturing associates.
Driving excellence for new innovation introductions and existing plant-to-plant transfers by identifying gaps in communication and overall technical readiness.
Establishing and communicating monthly transfer metrics to measure success.
Deployment of manufacturing best practices as developed through collaboration with RD&E and through plant / process benchmarking.
Technical leadership for commercialization of new product processes and technology platforms with quality and compliance as priority followed closely by efficiency.
Execution of global strategy for process platforms. Ongoing gap assessment and capital planning with Corporate Engineering to address deficiencies in compliance to process standards and driving continuous improvement in process reliability and performance.
Project work and training. Owning the body of work for the Greater China region and linking with the network of regional associates globally and with the global technology platform leaders.
Standardizing quality procedures and processes in the manufacturing and distribution of chemical and equipment products.
Implementing continuous improvement of the global Quality System in region in conjunction with supply chain Regulatory Affairs, RD&E and Divisions.
Identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing process changes to prevent and resolve them. Collaborating with RD&E and Purchasing to Qualify and rate internal sources and external vendors of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, and distribution services.
Working with key customers to address quality concerns. Providing technical guidance and working in close liaison with Divisions, Regulatory Affairs, RD&E and Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing on major new product introductions and acquisitions.
Providing overall leadership for relevant ISO compliance at locations supported.
Serve as functional leader for introduction of new products, communicating with internal and external customers about quality related topics.
Selecting, training, developing, retaining and managing associates in line with our standards. Co-developing and managing plant quality manager performance and development expectations with plant managers.
Serving as the Supply Chain Management Representative in all matters pertaining to the supply chain portion of the Ecolab Quality System.
Driving complaint and other quality indicator results across the Supply Chain and Divisions. Creating an environment in which employees can work safely.
Setting up and managing an audit system in partnership with Procurement.
Generating and implementing ideas that improve quality indicators, in line with cost, investment and service goals. TPM Quality pillar owner.
Minimum Qualifications :
