FileMaker Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple Computer, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative. The Inside Sales Development Representative (ISDR) will ensure the growth of FileMaker Sales with outbound calling into established organizations within a defined region.
Responsibilities will include generating revenue by focusing on renewing and expanding FileMaker usage and solutions within current accounts by up-
selling / cross-selling and utilizing referral and solution-based selling techniques.
Renew and expand existing accounts to meet quarterly revenue objectives.
Initiate outbound communications via the telephone and email to renewal accounts.
Utilize sales tools to profile and gather sales opportunity intelligence.
Cultivate relationships with renewal customers to ensure their needs are being met and to uncover opportunities for up / cross-selling.
Manage the sales pipeline and maintain the customer license database.
Understand the buyer / seller process while leveraging marketing assets to ensure agreements are renewed and revenue potential is realized.
Communicate and coordinate with teammates as appropriate to ensure effective customer retention plans.
2 - 4 years Inside Sales experience or equivalent.
Proven ability to generate and close sales opportunities in their current position.
Familiarity with CRM systems is required.* A background in software or computer technology is preferred.
Four-year degree in Marketing, Business or related concentration.
