Assistant Human Resources Manager

Our client is one of the leading University in Hong Kong. They are now looking for an Assistant Human Resources Manager to join their team.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Assist the Department Head in overseeing the daily operation and effectiveness of the assigned Business Units (BUs)
  • Lead, coach and supervise other members of the Department to provide one-stop-shop HR services to assigned BUs
  • Assist in the developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, systems and guidelines where needed
  • Ensure legal compliance and advise client departments in respect of employment-related laws
  • Support in conducting staff counselling sessions and in handling misconduct, grievance, complaints and other sensitive HR matters
  • Perform any HR and administrative duties as assigned
  • Successful candidates should possess :

  • A recognized Bachelor degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of solid and stable HR career with at least 3 years in managerial position in a sizable and reputable organization
  • Working experience in NGO or public sectors organization is desirable
  • Well versed in Hong Kong Employment related ordinances and regulations
  • Highly adaptability and a strong sense of ownership in driving various HR initiatives
  • Strong stakeholders engagement and leadership skills
  • Detail oriented and strong in analytical skills
  • Strong in communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in PC knowledge and familiar with MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior HR Officer
