As a SCM local Business Partner, you will be responsible coordinate among SCM internal teams to meet user requirement and solve any issues from internal client.
Support, deploy and implement regional / global sourcing initiatives. Ensure local purchasing activities align with regional / global sourcing strategies and are executed within corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
Your tasks as a SCM local Business Partner will include the following :
The objective of this position is to act as single point of contact to ABB internal client to meet their requirement and solve any issues from internal clients.
Local SCM BP also needs to support regional and global sourcing initiatives as agreed on by the Regional IM&S Sourcing head and the Regional SCM Operations head.
The position holder will support various category teams and ensures that regional category strategies implemented in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
1. Consolidate local requirements and provide local benchmarks on demand.
2. Implement category strategies locally in close alignment with the regional / global Category leader.
3. On-board and de-source suppliers according to the sourcing strategies and ensures that procurement system are updated in a timely manner.
4. Run local sourcing initiatives if agreed on by the respective category lead and / or SCM Business Partner.
Solve day-to-day cost / quality / scheduling issues with suppliers as defined by respective category leader.
Actively engages and drives joint collaboration within CoE.
