Project Department is the Pivot of the company, leading and coordinating Engineering, Management and Technical resources.
The Head Manager of Project Department manages a 10-people team.
The main duties are to Accompany and lead the team through projects, Develop standard tools and processes to enhance internal efficiency on customized products, Improve interface with Sales and Production departments.
Accompany Project Team and Client :
Organises schedule and manages internal resources and subcontractors to fulfil projects
Provides technical advice and support to Project Managers and Drafting department
Evaluate the team performance for bonus calculation
Assists and Guides Client and Sales Dpt. To viable technical solutions
Edits Installation Guidelines
Manages Installation team or Subcontractors on jobsites
Develop tools for Project Department :
Edits design Standards and Guidelines to improve project efficiency
Create and improves management (Schedule and Cost control) and engineering (Analysis and Drafting) tools
Develops new products in collaboration with Production and Procurement
Enhances rigorously the quality of deliverables (soft : drawings hard : final products )
Continuously Increase supplier and subcontractor Network
Improves interface with side Departments :
Edits Processes in information transmittal from Sales Dpt. And to Production and Logistic Dpt.
Updates existing processes to prevent losses of information between departments
Develops and improves communication and exchange processes with other Entre-Prises hubs.
Orchestrates project priorities with Production Dpt. And Suppliers
Defines project Standard Leadtimes and Costs to assist Sales Dpt.
Collects and compiles cost related information on projects, protects and updates margins on projects
Guides Procurement Dpt. In finding new suppliers and technical solutions
Competencies & required experience
3 to 5 years minimum of experience as Project Leader or as Technical Department Manager
Experience with managing projects in Asia or overseas
Experience with problem solving and developing adapter solution
Experience in managing small team
Master degree in construction and / or Mechanical Engineering and / or Technical background
Project Management certification is a plus
Excellent leadership, rigor and organizational skills
Excellent English level (written and spoken), proficiency un Mandarin is a plus
Interpersonal skills necessary
Familiar with Office and basic skills with CAD softwares (SketchUp, AutoCAD )
Able to work time to time under stress of client or urgent project
Enthusiasm for working in a small but fast-growing company
Climbing experience would be a plus
