This position is to be based in Wuxi or Chengdu, China.
To provide regional Human Resources leadership and support an organization that can consistently exceeds business objectives through the effective deployment of effective HR strategy, systems, policies, tools and practices that are align with Company strategy and culture.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Secure / Command Sr Leadership accountability with other senior regional leaders.
Develop strong relationships and work closely with the business leaders and HR Managers in the region for timely, relevant and value adding delivery of HR service.
Drive consistency of HR practices across all sites, in relation to Jabil and to leverage the sharing of best practices wherever possible.
Ensure key recruitment and on-boarding processes, systems, procedures and tools are in place and working smoothly across all sites in the region.
Lead M&A and Greenfield efforts from HR perspective.
Collaborate with the regional Compensation & Benefits team to align Jabil compensation and benefits program to ensure they support a pay-
for-performance culture, effective business growth and are competitive in the market / industry in which Jabil is competing.
Collaborate with other departments, to help drive a series of employee relation and communication initiatives that foster communication and exchange between management and employees.
Conduct ongoing reviews of Company policies and procedures on HR Management.
Lead JEDII efforts Ð curriculum, operations, and strategy with JEDII Director.
Formulate and introduce new practices, processes, tools and procedures applicable across the region where relevant and feasible.
Keep abreast of broad internal and external labor related legislation and policy changes and to ensure all sites are in compliance.
Develop working relationships across key cities with government officials where necessary.
Support the implementation of HRIS systems across all sites in the region and effectively utilize the current HRIS system to improve HR information sharing and decision making.
Effectively handle and resolve escalation / hotline cases that are directed to regional HR and to provide leadership support in key employee incidents.
Track key HR indicators across the region and recommend corrective actions when trending is off.
Ensure timely and accurate data / information request submission across all sites.
Drive the annual training plan collation and implementation across sites that align and support the achievement of business objectives and company-wide training initiatives.
Collaborate with HD department to drive the succession planning and talent pool development process within Jabil.
Actively support and participate in regional HR initiatives and activities where required.
Help build and develop a credible and effective HR team across the region.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or post graduate studies in Human Resources preferred.
A minimum of 12 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist role, with 4-5 years in a functional managerial role within Human Resources.
Prior work experience in the electronic manufacturing services industry preferred.
Or a combination of education, experience and / or training.
